Audio tactile line marking (ATLM) is yet another long life marking. It is a slight variant to the standard, flat marking whereas it is applied in clumps rather than a solid line. You may know them as rumble strips as they cause a specific “rumble” noise if you happen to veer off the road - they are designed to alert the driver or effectively wake the driver up, in such circumstance. This is a perfect example of how line marking is applied as a safety element on our roads and is proven to have saved lives.

It can be applied in both thermoplastic and cold applied plastic.
